Valterra Platinum holds a world-class PGM endowment comprising well-established, low-cost and long-life mines with combined resources and reserves of over 600 Moz 4E, and a total life of over 230 years.
Our massive ore body is amenable to bulk underground mining, particularly at Mogalakwena, where mineral reserves exceed the total PGM reserves of our peers in South Africa. We also hold the Amandelbult and Mototolo mines in South Africa, and Unki mine in Zimbabwe.
Our processing assets are critical to our value chain and comprise seven concentrators, five operational primary furnaces and three chrome plants. Our Base Metals Refinery and Precious Metals Refinery are among the largest and most technically advanced of their kind.
We are committed to achieving our goal of zero harm, and work to extract every possible ounce of PGMs from our ore body as safely, efficiently and environmentally responsibly as possible.
