Anglo American Platinum hosts Capital Markets Day

24 March, 2025

Anglo American Platinum is today hosting a Capital Markets Day to reaffirm the Company’s value proposition and strategic priorities ahead of its proposed demerger from Anglo American, expected in June 2025.

Anglo American Platinum is a leading PGM company with a world-class mineral resource endowment and industry leading metal processing and refining assets offering multiple pathways to value creation. Our portfolio of managed mining assets are all positioned in the first half of the cost curve, with a leading position across an integrated value chain to deliver resilient performance through different market conditions.

The Company has a strong conviction in the medium and long term fundamentals of PGM supply and demand. We have a disciplined approach to capital allocation and a track record of delivering sustainable shareholder returns through the cycle, which it is well positioned to continue.

The live presentation commences at 12:30 SAST for registered participants. The presentation materials, together with a link for live registration for the webcast, will be made available on the Company’s website at www.angloamericanplatinum.com. This portfolio transformation will focus Anglo American on its world-class resource asset base in copper, premium iron ore and crop nutrients, once the sale of our steelmaking coal and nickel businesses, the demerger of our PGMs business (Anglo American Platinum), and the separation of our iconic diamond business (De Beers) have been completed.
